How do we set up a Colleague Cars scheme?
The set up process is very straight forward. The organisation will need to agree to our user terms and conditions and enter into a lease agreement for the vehicles. Once these are in place, we will provide a login for employees.
What costs are involved?
There are no set-up costs and all company car costs will be funded via salary sacrifice. This means that in the normal running of the scheme, there will be no cost to the organisation. Savings in National Insurance will be made by the organisation.
Do we need to have a benefits scheme already in place?
No, Colleague Cars can be offered as a stand-alone benefit as well as being offered alongside other benefits.
What if an employee leaves?
The car is returned to us. For employees who leave voluntarily, there is no charge to the organisation.
What if we use an external benefits provider?
We can often integrate our system within those of other benefit providers. Please contact us to discuss the options available.
What about damage to the vehicle?
Any damage costs are the responsibility of the employee and not the employer. It is the employee's responsibility to pursue any claim on their insurance policy where necessary.
What about excess mileage charges?
Any excess mileage charges are the responsibility of the employee.
